How do you fix sqeaky disc brakes on the bike?
Do NOT put any lubricant (WD-40 lubricating oil, etc.) on your hard disk or the brake PADS! If you get any type of lubricant on the brake discs, they will be useless to you and, worse, dangerous because the calipers are not in the Be able to handle the rotor. In other words, you will not really be able to brake. That is, it may be a few problems here, with the most simple solutions: (1) The rotor is not centered in the caliper housing so that a rubbing of the brake pads and hear is causing the noise. Either the mechanic who assembled your bike not want to make work well, or did it become wrong by trying out there, etc. Take the bike to your local shop if you are not comfortable toying with the set screws. Most reputable places will that take care of on the spot without fee, especially if they sell it to you. (2) you retired on the brake lever while the wheel was gone and now the brake calipers are pushed too close together with the wheel (and rotor) back into the case.
