Do you define endurance sports and not let someone else do it for you
Do you define sport endurance and do not let anyone else do it for you
By Jason Bahamundi ( target = "_blank"> The life of an aspiring triathlete)
Recently there were some jokes in the world of blogs on the runners from runners. This discussion was prompted by a message from Julie Kings Hotleg corridor and Pearl Izumi announcement. The title announces, "We are not real and continues to discuss the running and jogging, jogging and mostly light. This led me to believe in the sport of triathlon and all distances. It Triathlon Sprint Distance Triathlon Olympic Triathlon Half-Ironman and Ironman. They see other athletes differently? Is an Ironman triathlete think his career is not in the same realm?
The WTC has announced a series of new triathlon race series called the 5150 is a series of Olympic distance events. An Olympic triathlon is a 1.5k swim, bike and run 40K 10K. When you add the figures 51.5k (31.9 miles) so the number 5150. If you are familiar with then you know that Ironman distance is Half Ironman 1.6K swim, 21k bike and 90.1k run, while the Ironman distance is doubled.
Also what the person has completed the Ironman triathlon think Sprint is Olympic or less and a company that creates products for events such straight out and say is not a triathlete, if you do not 140.6? The time it takes to form a 140.6 mile track is very high and some simply do not have the time or opportunity to do so, then who are fewer than one in 140.6? I do not think, I think this person is a triathlete. I think once you've finished all three steps in the same day that you are a Triathlete. Notice I did not say in an hour to an hour or two for a sprint medal.
I think the difference is to be called an Ironman. When we talk about my quest to participate in the Ironman 70.3 California to make a clear distinction is not an Ironman, and is "only" 70.3 miles from 140.6. I have great respect for someone who goes out and trains and competes, regardless of distance, but I think 140.6 is special and should be treated that way.
In my typical day reading blog after blog after blog, I came across one of my favorites, which is written by Kristin White. Cristina is an amateur whose capacity has been on the podium 70.3 in Syracuse. He finished first in his age group, first amateur female and third overall. Then go see in 2010 participated in the sprint triathlon Syracuse 70.3 before and after the publication good results in Buffalo Springs. Cristina competed last October in Kona, where he finished fifth in his age group and women in general 36. The fact that Kristin ran in Kona to make it a triathlete? I do not think so I think that has become a triathlete was competing in a triathlon and finishing.
This topic has been addressed by Lisa Barnes Lava Coat October 20, 2010. The article focuses the same as a triathlete is a triathlete, no matter the distance. Comments on the article, but go beyond and an idea you think is excellent. If you do the event in 5150, you may need to obtain an orange M-Dot tattoo if you choose. Made a 70.3 and would be blue. Perform 140.6 and all the Red Dot-M is to flash your family, friends and strangers. This creates a distinction, but he says you're not a triathlete that brokers Pearl Izumi ad points that are not runners.
Me the belief is that you become a triathlete across the finish line of a triathlon, no matter the distance. You're on your way to becoming a triathlete when he wakes up 4:30 to go to the pool for swimming. You are on the route when you connect the Garmin to record your heart rate while on the bike. You are at every step the foot of a brick planned and lose family time. When you follow the line at the beginning of a triathlete who know that in time, crossing the finish line and will be considered a triathlete.
I found the ad offensive Pearl Izumi at first, because if you move your legs fast walking, then you are a runner no matter what the ad is concerned that you describe. The point of exit and travel is to lead a healthy and happy life and has filed a notice that are not runners runners can send people home and not reach the top of the line, no matter how fast they went.
Then I reread and I are just trying to be provocative and make people talk about their announcement. The saying that there is no such thing as a bad publicity could have been his goal. If this is the case, then they succeeded, because after seeing the blog entry by the broker had Hotleg 15 comments. People talk and reach his goal, but, of course, many people who say they will not buy the brand.
I remember this gentleman I see every week in the White Rock Lake in Dallas. The man must be in their late 70s or early 80s, and turns to the circuit of nine miles to their own pace. He has his helmet and clock and Garmin is probably brewing 15 minutes per mile pace. It would be the executive who approved the message that it is not a broker? In my book, I want to be that man. I want to be my 70 80 years and still dragging around a 9 miles and sweat, and knowing that I am a way of healthy no matter what you call me, because in the end I am an inspiration.
The race is not defined as moving legs soon in my mind. It defines how you live your life. Do you have enough rest, he trains, making people smile and have fun, see your food? If you answered yes to these questions, then you are a runner and I do not care about their own pace as you do more than just sit and watch the world go by.
Take care of your body and your body will be good for you. So put on your running shoes or bike helmet and go out there and deal with as many miles as you want at any speed you want. You are a runner or a triathlete in my book.
Road bike gloves and size?
I wonder what is the difference between men and women in cycling gloves. I am looking to get some Pearl Izumi Pittards Thermal gloves, but only make them in men's sizes. Does it really matter if I leave half of women with little men?
This should work fine. They are the size of the waist.
