Cycling to a healthier lifestyle
There are a number of activities that are both fun and calorie burning to combine advantages. The majority of us, the exercise-phobia, tend to leave behind for lack of interest exercise. One of the most popular and easiest to get in is cycling. It takes very little effort and is full of healthy benefits for you and the whole family.
There are many reasons why cycling is one of the best forms of exercise:
- The cardiovascular system receives an aerobic workout.
- Between 400 and 700 calories burned per hour.
- Minimal emphasis is placed on the joints.
- It can be done almost anywhere.
However, to make the ride more enjoyable and safer, the following guidelines:
Getting started
Wear a helmet – Statistics show that 85% of all deaths cycling is a direct result of head injuries. Apply bright clothing when they see them at night in poor conditions and, above all. Use a headlight go if after dark. Do not use a Walkman-style radios. Not only these are a dangerous sensory impairments, but they are a possible violation of city laws as well.
Shop packages or packaged in Baskets or bags specifically designed for motorcycles. Which are the safest and most comfortable saddle bags (side bags). Backpacks can be dangerous, such as articles, the displacement of the pack and throw you out of balance.
Technology
Keep your hands on the top of the handlebar and change their position frequently to prevent cramps in hands, arms, shoulders and neck. The "racing" position (hands on curved part of the arm) is racing only and should not be used for normal cycling.
Relaxed arms will absorb the upper body on the bumps better, and the knee should the buttocks raised slightly bent to prevent bouncing on the seat and inevitable bruises.
